Collin
"John"

Collin, age 14, is the group's rhythm guitar player.  Collin was eight years old when he got his first guitar and his motivation to learn the instrument was his desire to play with the church praise band.  Collin achieved that goal by writing a song after only a few months of lessons.  Influences on Collin's musical interests are varied.  Mike Musick, an accomplished Contemporary Christian Music Artist, was his first instructor.  Collin's present instructor got him interested in Beatles music.  Marty Scott and Kevin Mantegna, members of "Liverpool Legends", give Collin inspiration and encouragement.  He greatly admires John Lennon and Paul McCartney.  The most memorable of Collin's various solo performances was in 2004 when he played for a costume change during an "American English" concert at Fiesta Days in McHenry, Illinois.  While he continues to play with the church band, he also plays saxophone in the school concert band and guitar in the school district's jazz band.  An easy-going personality, strong musical drive and a desire to perform make him a natural on stage.  Collin simply loves making music and sharing it with others.
